- Areas of interest: One of ASA’s areas of interest is classroom acoustics, including the design of learning environments with desirable listening conditions. The ASA also features an Explore Sound section on its website to help others learn about both acoustics and scientists who study sound.
- Noisy Planet collaboration: The ASA has disseminated Noisy Planet materials in both English and Spanish to its members at national conferences and to several Girl Scout troops. It included an article on Noisy Planet in its quarterly magazine, Acoustics Today. The ASA has also posted multimedia content on its website.
